New to Church?

I am new to church going. What should I expect?

As a first timer, we want your experience at the Belleville Seventh-day Adventist Church to be enjoyable and relaxing – you are in a safe place.

When you arrive at church on Sabbath (Saturday) at 9:30 a.m. or the 11:00 a.m. service, there will be someone to greet and welcome you at the door. They will hand you a program guide with useful information concerning the worship service including church announcements, small group information and much more.

What is the format of your Worship service?

The service at 11:00 a.m. on Sabbath begins with devotional music, followed by prayers, hymns, an offering collection, and a sermon. Each Worship service is approximately 70 minutes long.

The messages in the sermons are understandable, optimistic and provide hope. Life can sometimes be challenging. If The Belleville Seventh-day Adventist Church can provide a message of optimism to help you to get through life, and to understand God’s truth in your life, we are headed in the right direction.

What should I wear?

You will notice that everybody is dressed in a variety of styles, depending on their background. Some people wear comfortable clothes; some people are dressed in a suit and tie. The bottom line is that you are welcome to dress comfortably!

Do you have any programs for children and young adults?

Yes! We have age approriate programs exclusively for kids. Every week, the kids are involved in hands-on activities that will make the Bible come to life.

Young adults are provided with an environment where youth can worship, have conversations about life and experience God with their friends, training them to grow into adult worshipers.

We are saving a seat just for you!
