Apple breakfast bars

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cup rolled oats
  • ⅔ cup chopped dates
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cup grated apples
  • ¼ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup orange juice
 
Instructions
  1. Whiz walnuts with orange juice.
  2. Combine all ingredients and let stand for 10 min.
  3. Press into 8 x 8 pan and bake at 375 for 25 min or until lightly browned.
  4. Loose with spatula and cut into bars while warm.
  5. Serve hot for breakfast
